how did/where did you silcone to and from?
did you adjust the t-tops?

you can adjust the t-tops and up and down, and also their is a little metal lever thing that pushes the top rear most part of the weatherstripping against the window corner to make a better seal..

i did that, inconjuction with the black silcone sealant stuff and all of my leaks are gone.. other than the drops getting through the actual t-top where the laxan and the metal frame meet..

i might be taking my t-tops apart to fix that, but i dont mind a couple of drops..

I had a 91 Firebird about 2 years ago that had a slight leaking problem. It had ttops on it but they didn't leak. I was driving one day and I took a turn and I noticed water falling from the the trim piece that is directly above the rear pass. compartment. I took down the piece and put silicone real good around the nuts that hold the upper hinges of the hatch. It didn't leak like that ever again.

Hope that helps.

P.S. loosen the nut a bit and put silicone under it and tighten it up again....not a lot of silicone just a little....

later,
bill

the lever i am talking about is under the t-tops plastic trim pieces... their are two bolts that hold the hole where the pin from the t-top goes into. under one of those bolts in the tiny lever that can also be adjusted at the same time to push behind the weatherstripping so it pushes harder on the window to make a better seal...

aaahhhhh....

also it appears the leak in the back is coming from the seal around the trunk

Im not sure I know what your speaking of....if your talking about the ground f/x they came on the car like that stock. It was specific to the 91-92 Firebirds, Trans Ams, GTA's.

The door bumper moulding was stock too.

well its still leakin and i pulled the trim off thismorning from behind the brake light...the one that spans the width of the car and it is leakin from up inside the metal somewhere??? its not comming from the bolts for the trunk it looks like it is coming from between the ttop and the trunk lid somewhere in the middle??? that little bat that the ttops fit has a little gap at the back pas side corner maybe i need to remove it an see if thats where its leakin???
