Removing the speedo cable

I need help getting my speedo cable out of the back of the speedo, its the onlything holding my cluster back. anyway i would appricitae any help someone would have taking it off, my car specs are in the sig, thanks a million

Car: too many ...
reach up from under the dash and pull the plug. it has a sliding locking thing, so pull it forward (towards the firewall) and it will come loose. then pull it out.

I ve tried to reach up for it but theres so much shi%t in the way, am i missing something???

Tools needed, long flat tip screw driver and a flashlight.
Find where the cable is connected (should't be to hard) push on the locking tap with the screwdriver tip and pull on the cable at the same time.

I know how u feel. It was a real PITA for me too. No need to drop the steering column (dont worry I wanted to do that too). Use the tip of a screwdriver, that a good idea.

First time is a biatch till you learn how it works. Do the screwdriver tip that was mentioned. You have to push the tab in and just pull the cable off.
