What is the standard going rate for 4th gen TA leather seats? I want to get some for my 87 TA. Also how hard is it to make them fit? I understand it to be a direct bolt on.

, check ebay for some prices, they usually go for around 500-700 for the leather ones depending on colors. and then read this thread.

Thirdgenparts was selling brand new recovered leather seats on
e-bay a while back and they were going for $700/800. I bid on them and quit at $600 and I am sorry I did now.

Jim at thirdgenparts can still get them done, mine just came today. $800 got them shipped to my door, with power track and trim pieces, in the color of my choice. I'll warn you though, the whole process took 10 or 11 weeks. He doesn't do them himself, and the guy he uses just does it in his spare time. I will tell you they look awesome, like they just came from the factory! I went with third gens to keep the stock look.

The quallity might be nicer but the looks......um no. I dont dig white with brown carpet, to tacky. I have not sat in anything nicer than my boss' 97 porsche carrera and my dads 98 BMW 750IL VERY nice leather in both

i know this one was uncovered for a year, when i got to it she was layered in a few inches of dirt and dust!

89blackGTA :

um.......well first off the picture of the seats is terrible; it wasn't meant to show exact example. although it was meant to say the seats in the lamborghini are nicer than "any" bmw. that was the point end of case. which as well the carpet is an ugly choice; but still a choice that the original purchaser chose.

if your ever in the are feel free to drop by and sit in some "real" seats!

I paid $175 (Canadian) for the red 4th gen TA seats I used to have. I got the deal of a lifetime.... I don't expect to get any that cheap again.
