Neon Lit Gauges

I saw these little strips of neon lighting at the auto parts store and it made me think. if I out white face gauges in my car and attatch these little strips of lights around the inside if the black bexel between it and the clear lense in front of the gauges so they arent seen that it may light it up more. I think they were for putting around the stereos and stiff like that but why wouldnt it work for the IP lights as well. I could also make it different colors and wire them up to take the place of the IP lights all together. I want your opinions on this and any ideas as to how it may look or work.

Do a search for the LED dash mod. It basicly is just removing all the light bulbs in the gauge cluster and replacing them with LEDs, and I think it'd give you the effect you wanted. Hell, you could probably get those LEDs that change from red to yellow to blue, and have a color changing dash.
