gauge cluster

i want to put aftermarket gauges in my car, but i want them in the stock locations. do i have to make my own panel, or can i just put the gauges in the stock openeings, i have a 1984 camaro s/c

there are guages that will fit behind the stock panel bezel. But, you will have to do some fab work to mount them up to the dash behind it and then run all your wiring. Do a search on the tech board and the electronics board, quite a few people have done this with different guages and configurations.
