First off, all 4 seats gotta match.
Second, I think the black on grey will look descent, but not great. I'd look into carpet and interior pieces to complete the black interior. You'll have to be patient, but black interior pieced show up fairly regularly on the classifieds/Ebay...etc.
Don't get me wrong....If you do it right, it can look real nice, but nothing looks as good as everything matching.

Actually, I had black seats in my '86 T/A for a while. I had the 'Silver' interior, which has a medium gray carpet. They look pretty good with the black dash and console. I wasn't too worried about the rears, cause they are still in good shape, and blend in to the gray carpet and headliner.
I'd stay away from black carpet though, cause it will show every piece of dust, sand, grit, grass, that gets tracked in. IMHO the grey stays cleaner longer.
Get the black ones, if they're the ones's you want. They'll look just fine.

Good point about the black gettin' dirty.
I'm a stock ****......I like it all matching....or at least close. Don't worry....it'll look good, and if it's what you want...more power to ya!
