hi everyone---

i will be pulling apart my dash tomorrow to repaint my badly faded guage needles...i was wondering if anyone has tried to color them something besides the flourescent orange color...i was thinking maybe a bright blue ala indigo/bright blue...i plan on putting in a guage overlay kit as well (probably silver from mackewens(sp?)..i just want to do something different but if it leans toward the unsafe side, i won't...also, has anyone broke the norm and done something unique with their hood striping??i like the new stripes on the 2002 ss with the v shape fading off into the checkered flag motif...maybe something similar but with more of a tribal design..would it look totally tacky??let me know what you guys think as it goes in the paint booth next weekend...
oh yeah, i am painting it "dusk blue" which is the color of my old 1969 ss coupe...thanks..sinjin89rs...
