Seat cushion

Does anybody know a source for seat cushions? Sponsors for this site have the covers for my 88, but the driver bottom cushion is shot.

try http://www.classicindustries.com/, they're not cheap tho'. You may want to try a home repair. I did that on my side bolsters. You'll also want to allow the entire weekend to replace all the covers!

Most thirdgen's I've seen have flatten side bolsters, and mine was no exception. I would have prefered to have bought entire new pads, but the cost of shipping to UK is huge. I happened to have some old sofa cushions in the loft, so the foam was quite firm. I cut an approximate square chunk of foam off, and glued it to the existing bolster using spray carpet glue. It stuck 100% rock solid. I then created a card template from the other side and drew a line on the new foam to cut to. I used a sharp serated bread knife to create the new shape. It left a few imperfections, but I figured they wouldn't show through the new seat covers. (They didn't).

I don't have any pictures of the process, but here's the finished article.

Thanks for the info. I'm not concerned about putting on the covers, as my dad and I have done that before. I was beginning to worry about the cushion, though.

I'm having mine re-padded. Yeah, you gotta pay.....but it's worth it if you don't know upholstery.
