Shifter

How do i get the Shifter **** off of a 92 RS Auto?

On the front of the shifter, there is a little u-clip. Use some sort of tool, like a screw driver to pry it out. Then it just slips off.

Possibly, it might be a little different. As I recall it is the similar on a 85 IROC.

What about an 87 Firebird since the shifter is different. I did a search - wasn't helpful since I can't see what you guys are talking about. I haven't seen a clip on mine.

all ot these cars use the same shifter, so it is the same through 92, even for the firebirds (if you have an automatic).

Bubba- good choice in wheels! I have those in 17x8 on mine
