Hey all I am in the process of restoring a 89 Convert. It has to have new door skins on it and I was going to take the doors off to have the shop do them. What is the process of taking a complete door off.

WHere do I unplug the power window and locks?
I see the bolts on top but how do I get to the lower ones?

Best way-and easiest--is to have someone help you(doors are heavy)-pull the door panels off(if they're pwr)and unplug the motors-then pull the harness through the door jamb.
To get the lower bolts off you have to pull of the kick panel--that's it.
Like I said--make sure you have a friend to help you hold them--they're heavy doors.
