Help, what is this?

I've been looking for one of these for about 2 years now, can any one tell me whats its called or where to get one? its the "door" that covers the trunk arear. (thanks for the pic bubbakutz )

Its basicly a hatch cover for the bose sound systems that came in sc and lts. it houses the two speakers you see there and i believe an amp underneath. I have one off of my lt of you are looking for one.

Its not only in SCs and LTs, I have one in my IROC and its pretty common I think.

I would sell mine, but then my t-tops won't be as supported as usual.

You also need the rear plastic panel for the cover to rest on. If your car doesn't have the cover, the rear panel is smooth.

I don't have those speakers or the amp and I have one of those doors. I think they were used for more than just those speakers and amp.

NOT necesssarily true, Both of my firebirds has the ledge and they never had the cover...

My '83 T/A has it too, but without the speakers. I like it much better than the leather cargo covers. Anybody know the "official" name for it?

WHELP! According to the FIREBIRD Parts & Illustration Manual here is the info:

Its called a PANEL, LOAD FLR the part numbers are:
82-85: 20462802
85 w/D27 (Discontinued): 20518614
86 w/D27: 10089462

This was printed in 1992, so they are more than likely all discontinued

The Carpet has a different part number
