WTF is going on with GTAuto accessories??
Hey, I've been trying to order a wing from these guys. I need it really bad, cause my car just got hit, and it's in the shop now, awaiting parts. I've tried calling and leaving a message, and after the answering machine gets it, it says that they "can't receive messages" and I've tried emailing yesterday, no response yet, and I've tried placing an order thru Paypal, and it says that "this user can't receive money." What the hell! Has anyone dealt with this company recently and had similar problems? Does anyone know where I can get a good aftermarket fiberglass aero wing other than GTAuto? I like the GTAuto ones, but if I can't get ahold of them to place an order, and FAST, then I'm gonna have to get one someplace else. Any input / recommendations???
EDIT: Oh yeah, I posted this here rather than in the Vendor Review board cause I need help ASAP, and the vendor board seems rather slow lately...

My buddy, formulajoe_2, PAID AND ORDERED a fourthgen style thirdgen firebird wing IN SEPTEMBER! He waited and waited and waited--- Finally, emailed them. Two weeks later he gets and email response. "We're behind on production...It will be 2 weeks" They say. So he says okay and waits again. A month later, still no wing. Never can get calls to go through. Emailed them. Two weeks later, "oh, we completely forgot we'll get that out to you first thing tomorrow!" It is now December 10th and still no wing. Mind you, it's been paid for since september. If I had a dollar for every timing aftermarket companies give me the runaround, I'd be rich. I hope they straighten up things at GTAcc or there's going to be some poor advertisement being made on this site. I also assume this site makes a very large chunck of their adversitement and customers.

What about the wings from Year One? Anybody have experience with these? They're a little more, and I heard somewhere (probably on this board) that Year One wings were supplied by GTAuto accessories....is this true?
I've been trying to get a hold of these guys for over a week myself. I've e-mailed like 5 times and called about 5, nothing. This sucks for me because my goes to paint at the end of Feb and I need a wing, my rubber one is a piece. Anyone got a line on were I can actually get one and have it in hand by then??

I just ordered a fiberglass aero wing from Year One. Right now, they're having a christmas special where it's 10% off everything xcept "non-discountable items" and an additional 5% off for a "volume discount" if you spend $500 or more. The rep I talked to just gave it to me though, cuz the wing was close to $500 alone
. It was $489 for the wing, minus 15%, which came to about $415 - but then I had to pay truck freight of $110 to have it sent to my body shop
. So it worked out to about $525 shipped, should be here Friday at the earliest, or sometime next week otherwise. I guess if you're local to them (Atlanta, GA) you could go in yourself and pick it up, and not have to pay shipping. I didn't mind paying the xtra too much, since my body shop assured me my car wouldn't be totalled out with the additional cash necessary for this wing vs. GTAuto's price (which I originally told them), and insurance is footing the bill anyways - minus my $500 deductible.
Oh ya, and there's one on Ebay right now, currently $305 + 69 shipping but I don't know much about it... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=1874440962
Shipping is 2-3 weeks though, so this was not an option for me. Good luck!
EXIT: Oh yeah, when I called earlier today, Year One said that they have 6 of these wings on hand (well - 5 now, I ordered one), ready to ship out...no backorders

Yeah, I saw that they had 'em too...but 6-8 weeks for delivery, screw that! If you don't mind waiting, that's probably the best way to go though. I couldn't do that, cause I needed the wing fast.
