awesome
guess ill go and remove wheel and stuff and bring the compressor tool along for the black round cover and shaft o-ring under the wheel in case 88 columns have one, ive got a few good switches laying around i can put in, whats funny is that on the 82 the switch fell out of the column the other day, with key in it,,. wierd, maybe i can just pull the switch out of the 88 column,.,.

thanks

T-20 is size needed for the lockscrew for the switch assembly to release it from the column, third gen do have the column lock plate/wheel with O ring, had to remove it first and the turn sig arm extender bracket is odd but not hard to deal with, the little white plastic deal with the copper contacts that plugd into housing of column that the ignition tumbler slides into is a bitch and i couldnt get it to clip back into the hole it came out of, i dont knwo what it does but oh well too late now.

I had a hard time with the turn signal arm on my kids S10. Not sure of the little plastic piece??? Didnt matter on my Camaro, not using the column so it was a "bust it out" deal. Got to be something not working?

white plastic thingy that plugs into switch housing that the turn sig switch is attached to and this thingy has two copper flat contact finger thingies coming out/off it for a light green and tan wire pair

it just plain wouldnt plug back in to the hole it came out of.,., theres a spring steel little tang in there for tension, dark metal colored it is in therem end of it is sticking out of the hole, the hole is rectangle shaped basically

thanks
