collision repair
Alright folks, I'm needing some input here. I was recently involved in a collision with my camaro.
Due to the odd *** angle that I was hit at, the front bumper and nosepiece was completely ripped off, not to mention hood damage and right and left fender damage. (if you could imagine, I was hit by someone passing be on the left, on the drivers side corner as i was starting a left turn) Bumperless and a little shook up, I want to go about repairing this myself, but I'm not really sure what I would be getting myself into.
A white 89 v-8 RS camaro....
Any ideas for getting parts(should I go new or used?), and how costly can this thing get? (I’m only a college student, so funds are really short) Is there something past the obvious that I should be aware about?
All ideas/premonitions or autobody repair info is welcome!

Just a note to those who read this, I know that there are tons of information about this kinda stuff out there, but sometimes its just easier to ask. Deals on parts are bound to be out there that I just don't know about!

Also check eBay or local junkyards. As for cost, I would put it all back together myself and sand it all down then take it to a place to have it sprayed. Call around to some local body shops and get estimates. Good luck

As long as you get a descent deal.....and the parts are in great shape.....there is nothing wrong with any used parts......that's what I would go with.....
