Third Brake Light (glass mount)
Dont know if anyone has done this, but thought I would tell everyone anyway. I have an 84Z-28 and I wanted a glass mounted 3rd brake light (the correct one). My car did not come equiqqed with the light, but I like the look of it. I bought a new light and ground off the brass screw mounts on the back side and siliconed the light to the glass and hot wired it into the brake lighting system. It looks great and I did it without worrying about the missing holes in my glass.

You're probably the only person in the world that wanted the outside mounted brake lite. I do like mine because it is different and only made in '86.

from the third brake light into the hatch area from the top. Went between the hatch and the gasket and no it doesnt leak. I touched up the bit where the wire comes from the light with a little black rubber sealand to keep water from entering the third brake light. I am very impressed with the results. Looks factory.
