i got a 90 rs with the third break light mounted in the rear spoiler.
and i live in the city of chicago. the problum i have is that the salt they use in the winter time is eating up the plastic that holds the 194 light bulbs the bulbs never stay in and keep burning out. i cant find a replacement so does anyone know what i can do? im thinking about going to a junk yard and geting a spoiler that dosent have the hole for the light and painting it and putting it on my car.

 

I thought those bulbs in the rear spoiler (like mine) were halogen 891s. I saw at the local Kragen they had something called "bulb grease" which inhibits corrosion. You put it on the sockets and pins. If you have the halogen lamps, be sure not to touch them with your fingers when installing, finger oils are bad on the quartz glass when it gets hot.
