Paint Spray Guns
Paint Spray Guns
What type of spray guns do you guys use, i know that they can make a big difference in out the paint comes out, i know basic stuff about the guns, like fluid tips and HVLP and conventional and setting and stuff from using the SATAs at work and DVilbiss at school, I REALLY like the SATAs but they are like $400, the DeVilbiss are seem like good guns but they are not that well taken care of at school so i don't know how they really perform. Any one have opinions on DeVilbiss Finishline Pro II or something like that.....the SATA i used at work was the SATA Jet90 and it was a nice gun. What about others like sharp and such.....my main criteria is a HVLP, gravity fed gun.

I've got a Sharpe Platinum HO that was almost $400 bucks... Really happy with the results so far. I've painted 4 different vehicles with it and they've all came out great looking.

I have several Devilbiss guns at my training center (most of them older ones), and have used the Sata, Binks, and Sharpe also. I have had excellent results with all of them, though of them I prefer the Sata. Anest-Iwata makes good guns also, I'll hopefully be getting a few of those soon. As long as you buy a gun from a reputable manufacturer (one of the above), and take care of it properly, you'll get good results.
