removing my AC...i did a search, need help

removing my AC...i did a search, need help

i searched and found nothing for this...
how do i discharge my AC? im removing it on my 78 firebird with a V belt...
i wanna take ALL of the AC off, also if anyone knows anything about smog pump removal on a 350 carb, please let me know

Well if you want to discharge it the enviromentaly safe way you can go to a shop and have them vac out the system. Or you can do it like most bad people and just remove the valve stem and walk away....I really hope you do it the right way...After all our Ozone is bad enough as it is. Please do it the right way... Think of the planet too.

I would have to agree. Most shops would only charge a small fee for this service.

Be smart. You can get into a lot of trouble if caught doing it the wrong way.
