interior teardown

i have a couple of things i want to do and im wornderng just how doable they are. so any help would be appreciated.
I have an 85 firbird and a 82 trans am. i want to put hte center console from the trans am in the 85 firebird (couse i like the shifter better) and put the seats from the T/A in the Firebird. I noticed that the rear seat in the firbird splits into two sections. can i still put that one piece unit from the T/A in the firebird?
I also want to change the front fenders. will they bolt up from the '82 T/A on the '85 firebird?
after which i am parting out the T/a and the remaining parts from the firebird that i took out.
Thanks
James
eat_um_up@msn.com (if your looking for parts) the T/a has a goood 305 v8 and new rebuilt never used tranny

I'm not certain about these facts, but I'm pretty sure the sheetmetal was the same for all 10 years. So the fender should fit.

The split rear seat has a bracket welded in so the center of the seats have a hinge, so the split seat won't swap out into the other car unles you weld in that bracket. Vice versa however, I can't see why you couldn't use the solid seat in either car?

Ahhh, good question. I wouldn't think so, but it might. You could always cut it off.

Everything is dueable in our cars. It may take a bit of mods but just think hard, long, and ya know what, anything is possible. Good luck man.

You can do everything your talking about doing. If you want to add GFX then you may have to do some drilling. Also I am looking for interior parts. I have an add in the classifieds section about it. But I would like to ask what condition is the interior stuff being left in the car you are junking? And what color is everything?
