ok, so i got my 00' Camaro SS black console in the mail today so i thought id go messa round and try and install it. I didnt want to do the radio yet, cause i didnt have time, i have a firebird radio pod people told me would fit, but will it fit? or am i gonna have to have the radio pod out of my old console. Also, i got the back of the console to line up fine, but the front of it is high off the floor, it doesnt sit flush, am i going to have to cut some off of it, or did i do something wrong. Any tips would be great. Pics to follow.

you try a search yet? you might find a lot of stuff....

 

Mine had the same problem......

The front WON'T sit down......It doesn't interfere with my modified 3rd Gen radio pod....

You can modify your exsisting radio pod to fit the console....It requires cutting and re- carpeting....
