50\50 split rear seats??

I just bought new seats out of a 92 camaro. the back seat folds down all in one peace, and the ones I had in the car were 50\50 split. my question is will the new back just bolt right in or what??

I did the same thing to my car. The new seat will bolt in, but you will have to remove the middle "t" piece that is spot welded to the floor board. Take your time removing it, and you could probably sell it. I traded interiors with another member here and we had to rivet it to his floor. Hope this helps. Thomas

I left the metal bracket in on my car since I couldn't get it off. I tried to beat it with a hammer and it didn't budge.
so I just painted it black and left it there. Doesn't seem to hurt anything.

I was thinking about getting a set of fourth gen seats and was wondering if that would be a problem or if they bolt right in.

All i did was take a crowbar and hammer and it came off in about 5-10 minutes of hammering back and forth...

no need to remove the studs....just push a little harder into place.

once you remove them you'll have a hell of a time if you ever decide to go split.

right now i have the 4thgen rear seats....my plan is to redo my split rears so then i will have the nicer setup.

i don't like how it all has to come down.
