How do I remove the HVAC *****?

Ok, I can take off the **** for the fan, and the top one of the 2 sliders, but the bottom one is on really good. Just it just take a good pulling to get it to pop off? The other 2 were loose already, I'm assuming they just pull off or else they've been broke off before.... can anybody help me??? Thanks.
