2nd gen shaker hood scoop
I was thinking about adapting a 2nd gen shaker hood scoop to my 92 bird. Iwas wondering if anyone had tried this. I pretty good at fabricating but was looking for short cuts or hints.

I've tried a 77-78 style shaker on a TBI car and it didn't fit. The rear portion of the shaker contacts the firewall, so it can't mount on the air cleaner correctly. I suppose on this version you could trim the rear section of the shaker. Other year shakers would probably have the same problem, but I haven't tried them.
