Mirage spray paint is pretty cool...

I thought I saw someone asking about it a while back--it's that chameleon spray paint kit you can buy. It actually works quite well. I just tried it tonight on an old shaker scoop I had around and it looked pretty sweet. Just an FYI.

I think I may use it on some valve covers and a TPI setup I have, and see if it holds up. Might give it a nice, tacky flair.

I don't have pics, but if you go to the product review message board, there's a post there and someone has pics of the TPI he did. It looks pretty neat, but I don't think the look is for everybody!

Jawz: I'm in NE Minneapolis (St. Anthony actually). I see you're from MN, do you frequent the MNfbody site?

Snowbird, I'm not "giving up" on the Home Depot orange. I am stripping that car down and saving those beautiful panels for a show car buildup!!! I am working on getting that trans out too. Shouldn't be too much longer! How's your project going? Any parts you need that I might have?

Yea, I did my hood louvers and front grill with it and It turned out good. that was like a year ago and it still shines to this day. I used the green to purple on my purple haze car it looks pretty sweet the color of purple it changes to matches almost exactally. I would recomend it but im not sure about on valve covers. I think it will melt off but go for it anyway.

It's going slowly. I finally picked up the new motor and have it tore down for the most part. Just gonna re-ring it and new bearings, and cam. Accumulating some other parts too such as headers and struts. How are the strut mounts in that car?
