91 V6 Gauge Pod v.s. V8

Hello All,
I have a '91 RS V6, and I'm about to replace with a V8. Someone indicated that I have to replace the gauge pod for a V8 version. Is this correct? What's the difference? Thanks in advance.

You will need to change the tach, theres one for a v6 and v8. And the oil pressure gauge, v6's have the 80psi gauge and the v8's have a 60psi gauge. The speedo, volt, gas, temp gauge can stay in the cluster all you will need is a v8 tach, and oilpressure gauge.
