Door Pannel????

I have Power windows, mirrors, and locks on my 90Formula. I can't seem to get the black plastic peace on top of door panel off. Everything comes loose except at top front, by the plastic mirror bezal. Chilton's says to remove bezal, but I can't figure it out, Please help.
Also, if you have any advice on hooking up keyless enrty, remote trunk/window, and/or starter disabler it would be helpful. I got the basics pretty much figured out, but can use some good advice on connections.
Thank you,

To get the top piece off, just roll the window all the way down and wiggle it off. Both of mine came off with a little help.
As for the wiring, just make sure you solder all connections and use some shrink tubing. Thats what you should do for all electrical connections. This will ensure a good connection. Really do a good solder on the starter wires, so you dont lose your starter when you need it. HTH and GL!

Tried wiggling it, but my inside door handles are different than 88. They don't have the allen head screws on the handle plate. The plastic housing around handle is one-piece. Trying to get that off too, but think I can disconnect switches when I get panel off at top.
It hangs up at the very front. where the mirror housing or bezal is. Wright where the window meets power mirror. Is there a clip there, or something holding the velt strip on?

the easiest way i found to remove the top peice.is to roll window all the way down.then take the door panel(after you disconnect plastic rivets)hold it at the door jamb end right under the plastic peice.pull up & out slightly at the same time use the side of your fist and tap the plastic peice in 3 spots-center & both ends-start from the door jamb end( there are 3 angles on the plastic peice tap the center one w/a down & inward angle) .you might have to tap it more than once & also vary your position a couple if inchs back & forth.this always works fine for me this way.

Thanks you for the advice. I haven't gotten around to trying it yet. I was able to hook the power door locks up to the alarm, but I will need to get the door pannel off later.
Thanks again.
