Ever seen an 82 tilt column with no turn signals on column

Have an 82 Sport coupe-4 speed car-has no turn signal switch-upper sleeve where it should be is solid--has tilt down lower but shows no sign of ever having turn signals on column-- no button depress for key removal and absolutely no hole where one has been?????

Thats a column from a Berlinetta Camaro. They had the turn signal lever mounted on the dash, to the left of the steering wheel.

You can "kind of" see the column in this picture of my 84 Berlinetta.

The lever that is there is for the Tilt Feature. You can also see the blinker switch mounted on the dash.....
