Ok on the left sid eof the engine the very bottom pump what is that??? i need to have it replaced. Oh and hereis the long part... am looking at buyin and 88 irocz convertable its a 305 as u know.. auto wiht posi rear end... it is comletely original.. door has a few dings form other car doors... and ther is a scuff on the back..... and a some scuffs on teh front..... it has that pump rattling too... and it has 114 thousand miles on it.... how much do u think i should pay for it he is asking 5200 which i thnk is outragous... 4500 is fair i think .. also any tips on how to shoot him the price and get him to accept thanks .

Well, you think $4500 is fair, and he wants around $5,200...Hmmm well what I do(and it works) is to shoot for a lower price, like 4000, , and hopefully he will compromise...

Or you can tell him that you will pay 4500 in cash, that works sometimes..

 

I would take cash in hand (in 20's) and make him an offer and show him the stack of money, most of the time the seller sees the wad of cash and will more than likely take it.
Also you might take a few friends to keep the seller honest and they will not try and rob you (if they were thinking about it)
This has worked for me several times.

well thanks ... again... i think i am going to shoot a real low offer to him and go up from there. Do u think he will go down that far 5200 to 4500???? i hope so because i am shooting him a price tom. thanks
