how to save weatherstripping?

what is the best thing to put on weatherstripping to help save it? just wondering what everyone uses.

Good ?, I am wondering the same thing. I plan on buy some in a few weeks and want it to last more then a few years.

Silicon spray and use it fairly regular. It also keeps the squeeks down.
