Has anyone put aftermarket tach in place of the facotry tach on a 90-92 camaro?

Hi, my factory tach is WAY off, i was on the dyno a couple of weeks ago, and factory tach was off by sevaral K. i was thinking of buying a 3 3/4" autometer tach, and was wondering if anyone has taken out their factory tach, and replaced it, i know i would need to make a customer from plate, but is there room for one there, and woudl i be able to retain the rest of the factory gauges?

Check out this thread. On page 2, there is a post by Mr_Dude about half way down. He has one in his car and he explains how he did it.

Notice I didnt say "do a search"?

Hope this helps. Thomas
