Installing 4th gen leather... (advice?)

Hey fello thirdgen freaks, I just bought some grey leather "tuck and roll" style seats out of a 99 Camaro. Just wondering if anyone had some good shortcuts for installing these puppies. My main concern is the power drivers seat, as my seats now arent power at all. Im pretty sure that it has a hook up from the factory anyways?..havent checked yet tho. Any help is appreciated

My seats were not power prior to getting my 4th gen leather seats. I ran a 16 guage wire from the place on the fuse panel where the power windows circuit breaker was under the kick panel and then under the carpet. I took the other up under the center console to where the other grounds were and mounted it there. I ran both under the carpet bringing them out through the pre-existing hole in the carpet. Once the wires were where I wanted them I hooked them into the seats using clip on wire vampires (little blue plastic splitters) and finally made the connection at the fuse box. That way the seats only adjust when the key is on (keeps the car wash guys from messing with my seat).

It was really easy. The parts store sells these little brass clips that allow you to plug onto a regular fuse/breaker and use a spade connector for the accessory. Walmart may even have them now.

GL!

Thanks for your responce

So i just need to run a power and a ground wire to the seat? Thats easy enough. How tough is it getting the original seats out?

Thanks

For me easy, as there was no rust. 4 nuts for each front seat and that's it.
