So let me get this straight..

Once we have 10 people, you will tell the company that we are prepared to start the group purchase.

Alloy, you will send them the gauge cluster you ordered?

Once they put up the order stuff then all we have to do is put ou CC info etc. and once all ten people antie up. they start production, then it will take like a month or so before they are done? and they will not take money out of the account until all 10 people are accounted for?

I just want a few things cleared up.

1.) The needle, what are we going to do about it to make is visible?

2.) The 194 bulbs behind the gauges, were just going to have to pull them out?

3.) If we do put money into this, no matter what, even if they only sell 10 wich of course won't happen, will we get our gauge kits?

4.) These will be revers style right? All I see on the site are indiglo.

Not sure about the answers to the first two, but the answers to 3 and 4 are:

3. Yes as long as we get ten we get ours

4. Yes, we are getting the reverse style. The link is: http://www.streetracerparts.com/indiglow_gauges.htm

I can confirm that only AFTER we get 10 people registered on the web site for these overlays will your cards be charged. The total is $78.99 with shipping for the REVERSE style overlays. We will get our sets if even if they only sell 10. That's the deal they make with us.

I will also ship the cluster I'm getting out immediately. I'm a UPS shipper and we go to UPS 3-4 times per week. So the most time it will sit here is 24 hours before it ships unless it comes on friday after UPS closes. I want these as much as everyone else, and I can assure you I will not be the one to hold this show up! I will post the day I get the cluster, and tell you when I ship it also.

I'm not sure about the bulbs. I would assume the instructions would have something about that included in them. If not, we can try it with, and without the bulbs.

I don't know about the needles. Maybe someone esle can answer that question for us.

So if I understand The00night correctly that makes 10. Christmas seems to definitely be coming early this year.

The00night-I've sent you a couple of emails about this, but have not gotten a reply back. Did you get my emails? If not we need to find another way of communicating with each other.

So, with "The00night" we now have 10 and I've just sent an email to the company telling them we have 10 people that want these, what years these overlays fit, and that a cluster to use for development is on the way to me and will be shipped to them ASAP. And I also asked them to create the sign up page for us.

As soon as I hear back from them, I'll post and let everyone know the page is up and ready for us. I just might even call them tomorrow and not wait for email!

Update:

Just heard back from the company making the overlays. The guy must be a night owl or something.

Anyway, he received my email and is going to create the sign up page, and will email me when it's ready. I'll post a link to it here immediately after I receive his email.

Dan,

Next time you talk to S/R Motorsports, send them the pic of the stock gauge. It would make a whole lot more sense for them to have a link to a picture of the stock gauge in the Model Development page. Also, if you change the topic and The_Prostitute changes his topic to something more specific, I think we can get still more people to buy these (and perhaps more than one person for the 90-92 style). Just some ideas.

Can't wait for that link!

Here are pics of what the reverse overlays look like during the day, and then night when turned on.

Obviuosly these are not for a camaro. They are for illustration
purposes only.
