LOL

Yeah it's a unique idea but I don't think those mirrors even look good on the Supra...

That Photoshop makes your car look like it has dog ears, rofl.

Please don't.

If your so into the look, get yourself a set of the mirrors made for Europe for our cars. Some of them had the "Paddle style" And I would be surprised if the mounting holes were any differnet.

they also used them on very few 87 GTA's...

Here is from the 87 pontiac Booklet, it was spread over 2 pages...

Notice the mirrors...

I think something that we all need to keep in mind is when a Designer/ Engeneer designs something there probably is a good reason for doing it. Wether it was for Cost for the part, or the way it looks...

On the Supra the mirrors look "right" because they were designed for the Supera.

Granted, every now and then a product looks like crap from the factory, and all I have to say is it must have been a mistake, like the "paddle" mirrors on the 87 GTA...

At ONE time in my life I considered trying to get a set of the "Paddle" or export mirrors, but I just could not bring myself to putting a set on my car...

If there is a set out there for cheep I might consider it, but... there strange looking to me...

the stock mirrors flow well with the lines imo. i dont see why you would want to replace them.... i mean, i find them kinda smallish, but i put litle convex circular mirrors on the ends of them. that camaro photoshop with the supra mirrors makes it look like its got big ears or something:sillylol:

I was thinking of getting a set of Bonneville mirrors. Anyone ever thought of this? What do you guys think? I think they kind of look like the GTA paddle mirrors.

MY opinion: It looks awful.

It reminds me of the dorky kid every highschool has. A skinny head with ears wide enough to tag both sides of the walls in the hallway.

Wow, looks pretty bad. I had the idea of getting a set of C5 mirrors and putting them on but i think it would look the same way as the photoshop above. Anyone want to photoshop a set on the car above?

i dont think it looks all that bad. that is a crappy photoshop job, and they are probably higher and stick out further than they actually would. i was looking at the c5 mirrors too. they might look a little better.
