How about a C5 corvette dash ?
How about a C5 corvette dash ?
Anybody ever consider putting a C5 corvette dash in ? I'm looking at this picture of it on Ebay and it looks like it might fit, with a little massaging.

Do you mean a C5 Vette guage cluster instead of the whole dash? Anything can be done if you have money

What's so amazing about that gauge cluster that's so much better than a fourth-gen T/A dash?

The dash and door panels look so much nicer than the 4th gen f-body.

Good luck with fitting the whole dash if you want to try that, I saw one and wanted to do it, but the thing is WAAAAAY too narrow.

Do it then tell us. Need more people that are willing to experiment instead of ask others opinions.
Personaly im going to say no, the c5's setup is totally off from what a 3rd gens setup and woudl need a ton more cutting/fabricating then the 4th gen setup in the same car.
Its like a little kid with the star shaped block trying to fit it into a circle sized whole.you got to cut the sides off to get it to fit.....

Realistically a HUD wouldn't take up that much room. If you did that you could get rid of the gauge cluster in its entirety. Would be a mod to go for.
$$$$$ would be a big factor though.

I'm sure you can stuff it in there, but getting that thing to look right in a thirdgen dash would be an entirely different issue.
