doors
If the doors come with a strong interior structure it should be fine, you won't loose much weight, but in my personal case, I'd rather have them just because rust runs rampid here in Ohio. I'm not sure where to get them, I've seen them a few places, but mostly they're just door shells, they don't have any kind of re-enforcement.
The other option is to buy a shell, and install a roll cage that protects the sides of the car, but I don't want anything that big.
I've also heard that if you're hit dead on on the side of the car like that it doesn't matter, but I can't say that I buy that line of thinking. Automobiles engineers get paid way too much money to be _that_ dense.
