Well.. even though it's my 'beater', I can't pass up a $30 set of seats... I think it's an improvement though....

Thanks much guys. It is nice to get rid of those nasty silver-blue cloth/vinyl seats. Especially for the price.
Trans am.. you are correct. I got them from a pull-a-part yard. All seats are $10/ea and +$5 if they are power seats. I think it's the best bargain at the yard. I actually went out thre lookng for some pieces-parts for my buds 72 truck. Which is also how I came across the seats in my bird and the T/A tail lamps.
I think that's the secret for finding parts for yourself, to go to the junk yard looking for parts for sometone else's ride

For $30 dollars, I'd say go for it.

that's the same thing that happened to me. i met this dude at the junkyard to sell him an old amp for $150, plus i needed a front spoiler for the gfx conversion. noticed a 93 camaro, seats were like mint. just for ***** and giggles, i asked how much, he said $150 for front and rear. that was the quickest money has ever entered my pocket and left. couldn't have been happier with the seats too.

30 bucks sounds like a very nice deal. I own a salvage yard, and let me tell you, I would never sell a set of 4th gen seats for 30 bucks. I'd put them in my car before anyone could try to buy them.
