making 4th gen pwr wind. panel

I just installed a 4th gen center console in my car. I am now trying to make a lil panel where the ashtray is. I've seen most of the guys had done this already. What is the best to use to make it, fiberglass or plastic. Also any pointers on making the two slots for the power windows, like what tool to use?

I just used a small piece of plastic. Cut the holes with a dremel and popped the switches in.
It wasn't mounted, just sat in the ashtray.

Will do.
That Dremel tool comes in real handy. We use it for cutting braided line, cutting up the gauge cluster for the new gauges, cutting screws and nuts. One of the best tools to have.
Sears had a sale on thier Crafstman rotary tool. Came with a case, flexible end, and bunch of accessories for about $90.

here's a look at mine

I used some plexi I had around....and painted the back of it black with spray paint. Came out real nice. Also, try to make a template of the panel with cardboard. Then trace that onto your plastic/plexi and cut.
