Door GFX
Door GFX
Ok, I'm well aware that the 91-92 Camaro gfx hang a bit lower than previous years, but what about the part that goes on the doors? Did those change over the years any?
I'm dismantling my doors and the metal strip that these hang from rusted to bits, most of it literally crumbled in my hands. The doors are still solid, but the gfx hangers are not.
Has anyone ever just replaced the metal strips inside? They just bolt onto the doors, and there's nothing wrong with the plastic pieces themselves, it's just the strip of metal they hang on. I thought maybe I could pickup some sheet metal maybe and drill holes?
Anyone have any information on this?

82-84 arent as large as 85-90, 91-92 arent the same shape, i never could find the bolts to get the things off..lol
Bolts are inside the door, you have to take the door panels off, and they're down inside the door.
I know a bunch of you have fit the 91-92 gfx on an earlier model camaro, surely someone has found a way to mount them with the strips damaged/missing?
