Got rear ended
Hey guys,
I got rear ended today by a 2000 4 Runner at roughly 5-10 mph. I knew it was coming in my rearview so I braced myself.; When the car hit mine I heard the worst sound in the world (my car taking the impact), I then lunged forward after slamming the brakes all the way to avoid hitting a 2000 Ford Taurus. The radar detector and rear view flew off their windshield brackets upon impact. I then got out as we all checked the damage to our vehicles. I feel my car held up like a tank, the front nose has chipped paint/ spider web, but appears to be intact. As for the rear, well the bumper cover is torn in the center, and the metal bumper underneath has a bend in it (appears to be repairable). The part where I am afraid is where I noticed a crease near the gas tank filler hole in the quarter panel. Its barely noticable, but makes the back passenger wall of the car slope very slightly downward, do you think she's gonna be okay? I'm taking it to the body shop on Tuesday. I know you must see it to tell but have any of you had 1/4 panel kinks and how hard are they to remove?

But the thing is when I show people the car they are like "what damage?" Other than the tear in the bumper cover and the chipped paint, you really cant notice the quarter panel, perhaps it can be bent, like you guys said, theres no pictures, but I can say its hardly noticable
