Fender Vents

I really like the look of the GTA fenders with the vents. Think i'm gonna pick up a set of the vents when my new fenders come in. Anyone have any pics of them fabricated onto a Iroc or a Z-28?

For further clarification GTA's do not have fender vents. That is a Trans-AM only option. Formula's don't have them and niether do GTA's

Yes I know the fenders don't fit camaro's. I'm thinking about mounting the vents themselves to my new fenders. Just was curious about what they look like on a camaro.

Excuse me for mixing up GTA's and Trans Am's.

I am going to start that project sometime this week.

Unless someone's says I shouldnt

I got a pair of Firebird fenders from Hawks, but I got a trans am, so I plan on cutting into my new fender's (yikes) and getting the vents in.

I am gonna practice on my old fender's first, so I will take pics, and see how hard it actually is.

I will keep you posted.

I was wandering around the junkyard the other day and i got two vents and a busted up TA fender for $10, and i plan on going back and getting the other fender, cutting out the mounting hole for the "vents" and then cutting out a hole in my fenders, put a flange on there so that the part i cut out of the TA fender fits flush in my fender, using DURAMIX Small panel adheasive(strong as welding) and gluing it in, a little but of body filler and no one would be the wiser, i will take pics, i am gonna start it in a few days if not today. I will also write up a tech artical for this b/c it is so easy and i will have pics.

Well, i went back to the junkyard to get teh passenger fender and found that not just one but BOTH of their TAs with Vents had their fender bashed right where i needed it. I went around and i still cannot find one does anyone have a TA fender laying around that i could get the bottom part from where the vent goes I only need like 1 inch around the hole. Anyone?

Good ****, you also need the gun for it too tho, it is like a giant tube of epoxy, the kind that the two tubes are right next to each other you will see....i have seen it used and it is good stuff.
