Well, I decided to wash and detail the interior so I pulled all the AC Vents out and soaked them in water with a little Simple Green mixed in. To make a long story short, I pulled them out, dried them, and for some reason, they are grey instead of black. My dad mentioned that I ought to paint them a different color to contrast the complete black interior, and I thought, "Hey, what about white?" I have "reverse indiglo gauges" and will soon have the "reverse indiglo HVAC and Gear Selector" overlays. But I just can't decide whether I like it or not.

i dont know , it;s a bit much for me, maybe a silver , but in the end its up to you. I'm not a fan of it though,just do it black again .

 

I agree with nolanr0413. Something doesn't look quite right about it.

 

Silver or a dark grey would work. White is too bright.

 

The reverse gauges aren't really my thing... but I know a lot of people have a taste for it. Either way, I think the white is too much. A chromed look might be hot tho.

 

i did it in a 85 camaro i had, i hated it, i repainted it black that very day it looked so tacky, looks much better black

 

i vote for all black...

 

I don't like it, I think you should keep them black.

 

I think ya'll are right, I went out with a white piece of paper, and compared. It would definitely look tacky.

I would go with silver. White is way too bright for me.

 

tangerine orange would look nice. I say this because I plan on using that color scheme for my T/A...

 

some mineral sperits, and a little rubbing might make them look like new.

just an idea.

 

I would go with something darker then white. I like the plan black myself.

 

I did my vents and the panel around the heater controls and the panel around my guges all in GM Platinum Silver...I think it looks real nice...Goes well with my white faces

 

I personally don't like the look of the contrasting colors. I like the sotck look though

 

Well, I decided to leave as is right now, they're a REALLY dark shade of grey, and so are my seats so they match without being too much of a standout, or tacky. Thanks for all the replies an opinions, I'm always interested in what the members here have to say.
