new convertible top

Has anyone here ever bought a replacement top for an 89 iroc. The current one I just bought is leaking and I cannot see anything through the back window. Around how much is a new top w/plastic window? Will I be able to install it myself? Any info would really help.

Try here ---->https://www.thirdgen.org/techbb2/sho...op+replacement As where to get the top from I couldn't tell ya. My Firebird is a hardtop. You can find a lot more info on it by using the search feature up top. Welcome to the board.

Don't waste your time & money with another garbage plastic window. My top is 1 year old and the rear window looks like sh*t.

Buy their glass window top. Somebody else posted a link...and it was only $350 bucks for a glass window convertible top.

I paid 350 for my top from paradise automotive. They are selling original tops they have from asc and the one I got was great. I seem to have lost my bookmark for them, but if you search it should come up.

The link in the earlier post is from when I did my top. If you want to do it yourself and you have any questions I'll help if I can. It wasn't too terrible, but I have a fearless approach to DIY. My car was out of operation for a couple of days. You should definately make sure you have everything you need on hand for the job and you may be able to find some better glue than I could, but mine's holding up fine so far. Another set of hands is handy too. Like I said if you have any other questions let me know.
