82 firebird auto trans console shell part number
heres numbers i found on upper half plastic console shell in the 82 trans am with 200c trans:
10017516
182220
are all 82-up auto trans consoles same number, or does it differ from maro to bird and from 700r4 to 200c ?
ill be needing to find an unbroken one, as this one is busted up bad, so thats why i need to know
i think i remember the 84 bird having smaller console lid, but that was with T-5 tranny, hmm..

Are you talking about the plastic piece that goes from the radio all the way back to the back of the console? I thought those were all the same for 82-84 Firebirds and the shifter bezels (which are a separate piece) were just different depending on what trans you had. That's the same console I have, only it's been out of the car for a long time so I could be on crack.

yeah the top half all way from rear including the console box and lid all way up to front under the a/c controls, just the top half made of black plastic that the tranny shift plate sits on and the window switches sit in.
probably is all same 82-84 yeah, but I got to find out for sure so can replace it after i get drivetrain in and list of interior parts that are broken written down, i think seats are better sdhape than i thought would be only cuz have two covers on them, but the rears are dirty bad and one rip in one and carpet needs washed bad, need upper console shell, rear speaker sail panels, carpet door step plates, ash tray lid and radio bezel and so forth, usual stuff thats busted in a not as well taken care of third gen,
lol at your signature car project completion date, hehehe, so very true for any project usually, hehe
thanks
