Height difference. TA PBH and Formula PBH.
I finnaly found another power buldge hood, this one is on an 83 TA but looked like a newer formula hood. I dont remember seeing the black peice on this hood so thats why I think its a newer hood. Does anyone know the difference in the induction height? I think the older TA hood had a bigger opening so I would prefeer to have one of them unless there is no difference.
Thanks!

As far as I can tell there is no difference in the two hoods. I have a 90 model Formula and I installed an 84 cold air/cowl induction from a T/A HO with no problems.

I have an 84 T/A hood on my 86 Trans Am and my 88 Formula has it's stock hood and both hoods are identical. The 84 hood had that air induction setup on the bottom.
