Pic #1 is where the seatbelts go through at. There is no hole in that on peice because the seatbelt strap is up top where pic #1 goes.

Pic #1 goes onto pic #3, most of the stuff is held down by the plastic screws or regular screws.

I'm guessing the car its going into is pre-89.

seems like you just have lap belts in the rear only.

All (I'm pretty sure) 89 or newer cars came with shoulder belts in the rear. That explains all 3 of your pics.

I hope that at least gives you an explanation as to why those pieces look alien to ya'

The piece in pic 1 is what covers the seat belt winder-upper thingy (really technical term on my part ) that slot in the top faces upwards and the shoulder belt is fed through it. the piece is meant to snap into the piece in pic 3, and is held there by one screw close to the carpet.

The screws are all plastic, and are an easy junkyard part as long as the yard has f-bodies, i don't think they came with any other gm car, but could be wrong. otherwise i think you can still get blacks ones (they discontinued other colors) from a gm parts supplier or dealer. I bought one pack way back before i knew about junk yards, and i think they were around 6 bucks for 6.

I'm guessing your ride's never had interior panels since you've owned it???

The topper in pic #1 slips into pic #3. See the pic below. Right behind the back seat you can see the "squarish" looking box. That where #1 fits.

Now, it's decision time. Those boxes are from an 89 or newer ride like Jim and Deep stated. I had the same problem. Mine is an '87 so I have lap belts in the back. You can A) not care, B) thread a new hole in the well for a shoulder belt, C) reuse the old piece that was there and just shoot it whith some Krylon Fusion paint, or D) pull out a dremel tool and cut the slit open on the piece in pic #2 for the lap belt.

I just shot a couple of pieces with the Fusion paint and it came out really well. I'm going to do the rest of my old pieces and see how it goes.
