Automatic shifter help

I recently bought a replacement **** for my '86 z28 after the original finally bit the dust. Now, I'm a complete novice with any kind of car modification, and the "see inside for simple installation instructions" on the box of the new shifter was a tad misleading- there were no instructions whatsoever. I've been checking the net for some sort of installation guide for one of these things but can't seem to find anything...if anyone here could help me out at all, it would be much appreciated.

N/p.

Pull the button up and off, remove the c-clip at the bottom of the shift **** carefully and pull it off. Installation is the opposite of removal.

Wow, worked great. That c-clip was a bit of a pain, but apart from that it was a whole lot easier than I was expecting. Thanks alot for the help
