How much did I F myself over.....
A few months ago I installed a STB. Shortly afer (three days after I installed it) I realized that it wasn't aligned
it was off about 1/2" or 1". So all I have now are the bolts that hold the STB so that I covers the holes that I drilled. Is it possible to weld those holes shut so that I wouldn't have leave the bolts on.
I'm thinking about selling my car. I would think that this incident would dramatically reduce the price that I'm asking (infinit

Yeah, you could fill the holes in by welding. Just make sure you grind the welds down so they are flush and then paint it over and you should be fine.
