Gauge lens cover.

Ok guys,

Is thier anyway to clean the clear plastic lens cover after some bonehead gets Armorall on it?

Or is it just screwed?

I just bought a 92 RS a couple of months ago and I'm in the process of restoring it. Man, the interior was trashed.

I had to pull and replace the dash.

I'm also in the process of pulling and replacing the passenger area carpet.

The seats are trashed and I'm still trying to decide what to do with them. The drivers seat looks like a 500lb slob had be sitting in it for the past ten years. It's totally collapsed.

The passenger side seatbelt harness is going to have to go as well. For those of you who saw my previous post I couldn't get the stupid torx bolt off. I finally took my Dremmel tool and cut the bolt so I could put an impact on it.

Various trim pieces will have to be replaced as well.

When I say the interior of this car is completely trashed.....I mean COMPLETELY.

I've used glass cleaner on it and that has worked. You can also try a plastic polish.

mine was pretty spotted too when i got it. one night i had the cover in the house and was trying to clean it but had no polish around. so i used some toothpaste as a polish substitute until the stores opened the next day. i never had to go back and use polish, it took all the spots out. just takes a little time to get it all out, just keep rubbing and rubbing, eventually the spots will come out.
