I've seen those too. They look pretty decent but I don't know if I'd get those in a muscle car like ours. They look kinda ***** to me. Just my 2 cents.

What are they those new APC seats(if you don't know Pep Boys is BIG on APC)? If so to me they look like a Recaro seat to me but at like 1/3rd the cost(149.99 outta jegs). Personally I sorta like the look if it weren't for the big old APC logo in the headrest, kinda like putting a engine for a Zero in a Mustang it seems odd and outta place

i don't know who makes them. i gotta go back and look. the have 3 different models starting at about 150 bucks and going up to 279 bucks. that is each one. at least 2 models come in assorted colors. 2 have logos if i remember. all are suitable for a 5 point harness.

Here is the catch, if they're made for imports, you're gonna have a hell of a time getting them to fit in an F-body. I bought tenzo seats, which are made in japan, for cars from japan. So the manufacturer only makes brackets for honda, toyota, etc. The custom brackets to fit the seats in my car put me back almost $300. Suddenly, the $500 I paid for both seats didn't seem like such a great savings over sparco, etc.

Theyre acually "3A Racing" seats. Theres 3 styles, plain cloth, a cloth/vinyl, and a leather-like seat. The black leather seat is $229, and theyre damn comfortable acually! And at the price, much cheaper that name brand ones.

As for them being r i c e,

If you want a seat that will hold you in good, and do well on long drives, then theres no reason these seats, or anyones for that matter, cant be used. They look just like name brand Recaros, so would you call them ****? Come on, grow the hell up.

3A Racing? So that has nothing to do with APC right? Don't get me wrong I just have a dislike of all things APC because all of the stuff of theirs I saw looked cheap and to bling bling to me. Just curious anyone got some pics of these seats?

I think mine do ride a bit higher, and I have them adjusted as low as they'll go. Not that that's a bad thing, unless your head is already hitting the roof. The thing I hate about APC is that 90% of their stuff is fake covers to make it look like you have something you don't. Like cross drilled brake rotor simulators that go over top of your drum brakes. Then everyone will think that your car has high performance brakes, ooohhhh aahhhh
I thought that some other company owned 3A tho, or that they were manufactured by someone else. The seats aren't listed on their website, altho it hasn't been updated since 2000 either.

I thought the seats felt like being in a dentist's chair. Maybe that's just because they were tipped back, staring up at flourescent lights... Just my preference, but try sitting in one in the store for an hour or so for a test drive, and see what you think.

I also didn't dig the **** on the side to adjust the back. A bit crude, I thought.

Sit in a real seat like a Sparco or a Recaro and you won't waste your money on that cheap crap. They are cheaply made. They look it and they feel it. For what that junk costs you can get a set of 4th gen seats in great shape, or for a few bucks more you can get some Flo Fits or some Corbeaus. I've got the flo fits in my GTA and I absolutely love them.
