If you don't have subs or other items in that space behind the rear axle in the hatch, is where to put them. I have a t-top bag but I never use it, just slide them right in there.

I would advise against storing your t-tops without the bag. I had a pair of Lexan t-tops that I just put in the rear hatch and went over a bump and cracked one of my tops all the way through. Not good.

You can pick up a bag either on the Classifieds board here or on eBay (there are always a million on eBay).

The best place to put them is on each rear seat. Get a towel and warp it around the top so it wont get scratched or chiped. DONT PUT ANYTHING ON TOP OF THEM!!!!!!! THEY WILL SHATTER.
You could also make a t'top rack like the 4th gens and put that in your hatch well.

Yeah, the previous owner of my car had lost the bag and the T-Tops were scratched up badly. At least you can polish the acrylic ones. And there are lots of bags on ebay that aren't so expensive.

I am thinking of making a bag for mine. Has anyone done this, or seen one. My bag is missing but I have several friends who will let me get measurements and stuff to make my own.

I think it isn't worth the trouble. Those bags really aren't that expensive.

I just took two large pillows, and a beach towel for the time being to protect them.

Place the T-top in the cargo well, then put the pillow in there, then the other T-top and fold the beach towel over them.

It works really great for a half-*** ******* job. Protects them from scratches and keeps them from moving around.

I've just been lazy, mainly because I keep forgetting to look them up on Ebay. My tranny blew last saturday so I'm rather strapped for cash for the time being.

Anyone have pictures of the 4th gen storage thing for T-tops? Maybe something could be fabbed up to do the job in our cars for our T-tops. Providing you don't have subs in the way.

The bag is cheap but it's kind of a pain in the @$$.
